We created Green Shoots to reduce waste in our community and partner with companies offering sustainable services and making a positive impact. When we moved to Wendell, we were disappointed to learn there was no compost service available to our neighborhood. That's when we decided to take matters into our own hands and bridge the service gap between Wendell Falls and responsible food waste disposal!
How it Works
1. FILL UP YOUR BIN
Toss all food scraps, soiled paper products, and more into your bin.
2. SET IT OUTSIDE
Put your bin on your front porch the night before pick-up. We'll swap it with a clean bin.
3. HELP SAVE THE PLANET!
Your compost will be responsibly made into nutrient-rich soil you can use in your garden!
